Easy to Clean

You can imagine the mess that might be left behind by a chocolate fountain! All the parts are removable and easy to clean by hand.

Table Top Size

This fountain measures 12 x 12 x 16.4/5 inches and packs down for easy storage.

What to Dip in Your Chocolate Fountain

Of course one of the first things that come to mind for dipping in chocolate just has to be plump strawberries. Strawberries are one of the most popular choices for dipping but we have some other suggestions for you as well.

How about other fruit such as bananas, pineapple and apple slices. Marshmallows, pretzels, chips, bread sticks, crackers and even homemade cookies are other great choices.

The nice thing about this chocolate fountain is the cascading tiers all deliver the chocolate at an even rate and your fountain flows nicely all evening. The ability to melt 4 pounds of chocolate at one time is great, this way you don’t have to keep refilling it.

Chocolate is not included with your purchase and can be purchased separately, at the same time that you place your order.

Cleaning Your Chocolate Fountain

The cleanup is going to be the worst part of this fountain. But from reading some customer reviews they have discovered that clean up isn’t as bad or as messy as you might anticipate.

The base is the most difficult part to clean, mainly because this is where the motor is and you don’t want to get it wet. Your best bet is to pour out any excess chocolate into a container. Never put melted chocolate down your drain, it could harden and cause you major headaches.  Next you want to mop up any remaining chocolate in the base with a sponge. You can now angle the base and use a hand sprayer to wash out the remaining chocolate. This is quite a simple process and quick! Only takes about 5 minutes once you get the hang of it.

To clean the actual fountain part you can disassemble each layer. Each tier is constructed from heavy duty plastic which simply snaps together. Clean out any large chunks of chocolate and then soak the tiers in hot soapy water.

Melting Your Chocolate

Most customers suggest melting your chocolate before pouring it into the fountain. One lady uses a heavy duty freezer bag and melts the chocolate in her microwave. Once the chocolate has melted you can simply open one side and pour into the base of the fountain. This is a really quick, simple and clean way to melt your chocolate.

Wilton’s recommends that you use their brand of chocolate melts with this fountain. You can use any chocolate that you like but you may have to add some oil to get the right consistency.
