Ingredients
- 5 lbs. ground beef
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 4 cups tomato sauce
- 2 cups Parmesan cheese
- 6 cups shredded mozzarella
- 1 package lasagna noodles
- Salt and pepper

To Make
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Cook ground beef, onion and garlic in a skillet until meat is browned all the way through. Season with oregano, salt and pepper.
- Add tomato sauce to the meat mixture. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Cook lasagna noodles following the package directions. Spoon a thin layer of sauce into a Pyrex baking dish.
- Layer on meat sauce, Parmesan, fresh parsley and basil, and mozzarella. Repeat layering until all ingredients are used.
- The top layer should be mozzarella for the best results and presentation.
- Bake at 350°F for about 35 minutes or until bubbly and browned at the edges.
- Sprinkle on more Parmesan cheese and fresh herbs before serving.
