Spaghetti Bolognese
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. loose sausage
- 2 Tb olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 2 large cans tomato sauce
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley
- 1 pound spaghetti
- Salt and pepper to taste

To Make
- Cook the sausage meat first in a large skillet on medium heat until browned through with no pink remaining.
- Drain, set aside, then cook the ground beef the same way.
- Add both to a large sauce pot with a drizzle of olive oil, chopped carrot, onion and garlic.
- Cook everything on medium for about 7 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and bring to a boil.
- Simmer on medium-low for about 25 minutes. Then add Parmesan, parsley, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and add to a large serving bowl.
- Top with the Bolognese sauce and serve hot!
